Maker Space

            Welcome
          to the
Maker Space
     page of the

 PHS Library!

  Maker space is a new
buzzword for what is
basically a communal
workshop where users
share tools and space to create some type of DYI project.

Introduction:

In an effort to foster a learner-centered environment that promotes collaboration, team-building, problem-solving, entrepreneurial skills & the inventive thought process needed for real-world applications, the PHS library will be dedicating library time and space for the Maker space initiative.  There will be one formal, guided workshop each month and several embedded into core classes during the school day.  Each month will focus on a particular theme or project.  However, students may store materials in the library and come on work on their own for any approved project they wish within the library hours of operation.  Follow the websites linked below and answer the essential questions that follow to get making!
